Volvo's new-car sales rose 2.4 percent in September, while its' nine-month sales rose 2 percent to 346,146 cars.
The cars Volvo is developing in Sweden with the emerging Chinese automotive superpower, Geely, scheduled for export to North America, will have powertrains designed to accommodate plug-in hybrid systems.
The new Audi TT RS is expected to be revealed and go on sale sometime next year. It will have redesigned bumper, front grille and air intakes and a 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine.
